Just a couple of weeks away! I've got the trail all mapped out for the Saturday event. There are a couple of harder trails on the Fortune creek trail for Those Who Dare!!!!!
For those who can make it a whole day early, contact me as we are going to try and do some more difficult trails on Friday in a completely different area than the Saturday event. Stay through on Sunday and we will head up into the Liberty gold mine area for some winch trials!
The plan still is for the main trailride to be on Saturday the 11th and we will be meeting in the town of Cle Elum, and heading up from there. We will meet at Dearmins Conoco (fuel station), it's right on the main street in town. Theres trailer parking one block away, theres a coffee place right across the street, theres a Ace hardware store on the opposite corner also, so we should be all set to go. I plan on leaving around 0800-0900 for the trail.
Please think of the boy scout motto... "Always Prepared". Enough said?
We may even be able to get some T-shirts printed up (Keith?) for the event. Please e-mail me or call 509-674-6840 if you need directions, places to stay, campsite info, or whatever. I would suggest if you plan on staying in a motel to make a reservation by this weekend.
