I put a 318 poly where a 230 was in a 59 D100 and upon close examination discovered that I needed the crossover mounting brackets that are inside the frame as the V8 brackets are 4 inches farther forward than the six. The crossover is the same,but the little brackets are different as the frame starts tapering where they go. I had the floating power bracket for the front as well as the timing gear housing that raises the water pump and puts the fan in the middle of the radiator.Let me know if you have any more questions.
