The pics at Napa show later starters. The starter you seek is the direct drive (not gear reduction) starter used in the 60's It has the soleniod mounted right on it. The truck you have sounds like it has that HUGE HEAVY bellhousing that is drilled for the slant six, big block and small block. It is also made to take the 3, 4, and I THINK 5 speed truck tranmissions. I have one of these starters your looking for, BUT I dont know if it is still any good. It was put on the truck years ago, and the engine trans and starter have been setting outside for years. The starter was supposedly rebuilt. In your travels, look for a '68- back starter.
