FFPW Front Knuckle Bearings Question

Tell me this, why are the front lower knuckle bearings not packed in grease the same as wheel bearings? I can see they are a bit more work to take apart & grease, but no more leaking knuckles or checking to be sure they are full of gear lube.
You'd think with that with the limited work most of these trucks see these days that grease would work well...no?
