I did not mean I thought it was OK, it just happened.
when I was a mechanic, we blew the brakes off with an air hose, sometimes filling the service department of the dealership with clouds of brake dust. We would try to blow it into one another's stalls, as a kind of game.
I also remember when we would be disassembling those big transformers in the scrap metal yard, we used air hoses to clean the burned metal, blowing all of the mica and other unidentified substances into the air and all around us. I was too dumb at the time to know any better.
