Jonas, my winch will be subject to heavy mud pulls, tree work and other types of heavy recovery's. Ex. retrieving stranded jeeps and Fords. They tend to get stuck a lot in
puddles around here.

Being a Range Rover owner and putting mine to the test countless times I don't suspect I'll be pulling out any of them.

I've had mine in water 2" below the drivers window and my feet were perfectly dryinside the entire 250'cruise accross the man made lake, old minning country in P.A.
I do not have a fording kit. The Rover is
complete stock except for a 2" lift, soley for articulation purposese.

But that is technoledgy 50 years later.
