I'm not sure about the auto with H.O. diesel. I thought that the H.O. was only came with a six speed. And If you ask my opinion, getting the truck with 4:10's is nuts. I have the 3:73's in my 2003 H.O. and still the truck rev's 2100 rpm at around 75 mph. Also I would worry about the life of the auto with that much torque coming out of the engine too. Domestics can't make an automatic that will last.
