I never compared this truck to Paul's Carryall? I compared the quality of workmanship & engineering to that of Paul's workmanship...both are craftsmen.
I personally have zero interest Hotrods & custom cars...I still love to look at them & always marvel at the talent level & imagination that many of these guys have.
I think maybe you're going a tad overboard with the "redneck" thing. If you put stock rims & hood on that truck it would look bone stock from the outside. It's basically no different than any drivetrain conversion. It's also no different than if you could magically give your 2003 truck 3 times as much power.
In one breath you're saying it has more power than is safe, & in the next you're saying it wouldn't tow well.
I expect it would tow as well as my truck with 1500lbs of torque which would be pretty incredible since it almost pulls with the new trucks now.
