I would appreciate any input on my idea. I have a 1965 Ford cab on a 1969 F350 4x4 chassis with a 428 engine. The truck is completely restored. Since driving my new '03 Dodge HO for 20k miles, I have really been impressed with the diesel performance and power. I would like to install a Cummins in my old Ford. I want an earlier engine that doesn't live off of a computer. What years should I be looking for? And since I plow snow with this truck, I would like an automatic. Any ideas on this?
