Does anyone know of a wrecking yard in Ucon Idaho I visited about 1980 ? I was able to purchase some running boards, a hood, and other misc parts from some nice folks at
the yard. They came off a semi stripped
41 wc closed cab pw that had no bed. If I recall, I think they had a couple wdx type pw's also. Just wondering if anyone knows of the place, and if any of the pw's are still there. I recall the service was great.
They let me look around, I told them what I wanted. Parts were cheap and rust free, and
they pulled the parts and had them ready for me the next day. I hauled the stuff all the way home to Connecticut. It was a great find at that time. I could not find running boards in Ct, that were rust free. Parts went to a wc I sold long ago, and I moved to Florida in 88. Man, it was a great adventure, seeing southern Idaho. I would like to go back someday....Bob
