Look for a melted Amp guage terminal tower on the back of the plastic instrument panel. It allowes the whole ele sys to go open intermittently, and everything will die. Repair by using a rare potmetal instrument panel. I spent years to find this problem, and then the solution. ALL '77 Dodges of this era should be repaired. Part of the reason I will never buy a new Dodge, Too many fundimental design flaws, and now tech support. I run the shit out of them and find out what they're REALLY made of. I break them and abuse them.
