Chitina (Alaska) Power Wagon back on the road

I took my "new" 1950 Power Wagon out for its first drive today! Did'nt go fast - but it did go.

Thanks Bret for selling me the truck - it may take me a while but with a lot of work, it is going to turn out really nice. The first job was rebuilding the engine, now that that is done, it will be lots of smaller projects - not trying to make it like new, just making it into a good looking working truck.

From reading registration info, putting together other facts, the Power Wagon has had jobs in Oregon doing Log Salvage, Washington as a Brush Truck at the Kennewick Fire Station, and here in Alaska with the Chitina Fire Dept. It has had a few less exotic stops along the way as well.

I will post pictures next week but wanted to let everyone know that there is now one more Power Wagon out on the street.

Thanks in advance to everyone on the forum for helping me out with what will probably be a lot of dumb questions.
