As in this case you would probably be ok once the officer saw that your antique vehicle was only constructed with one tail light. Doesn't mean you won't keep getting pulled over at night. It seams odd to me that there would be a brake light but no tail light on that side. It seems it would be harder to engineer only one tail light and 2 brake lights.
