Fred...makes sense to me, They are pointed downward(the curved part of the loop) I have the total history on this truck and it's the origianl frame as well, maybe this truck was railed by train to Twin Falls, Idaho(where originally sold) and they had these on there and forgot to take them off there aren't any up front.
I'm going to keep them on there or I might trade them for a belt pulley hahaha they have to be worth at least $3K for the pair
