I am guessing that you have not visited the windowsupdate.microsoft.com (note - no www in front of url address) web site lately.
From your explanation, you have a virus that is exploiting a well known flaw in Windows. You need to get your system updated with the latest critical patches from microsoft as well as getting the virus removed. The microsoft patches will fix the security hole that so many of these latest virus's are exploiting. Updating your security patches at microsoft should be on your list of things to do along with having the latest virus definition files. Just another pain in the rear end task that we all need to keep up with.
