My dad had a 77 Plymouth Voyager Maxi with a 360 and he used it for work. He would load the entire van and a full size U haul and drive all over the place. I'd say the Maxi would handle a PW just fine. Being a 300 Maxi it may have a Dana 60 under it and be a 1 ton.

The only thing I remember the big one piece rear door did not like the wind and was very easy to get opened up too far if the wind caught it. Did have some problems with the sliding side door but it was adjustments.


Your cold 727 lag is probably a fluid and filter change. The loose steering could be a steering box adjustment. Problem with vans is they are a pain in the *ss to service so regular maintainance usually doesnt happen until something goes bad.
