David, That is quite a nice first hand dissertation on these engines. I will copy it to my archives. Do you know of anyone who has done a hydraulic Pwr Steering conversion? Or any company who offers a hydraulic kit? I know about the Pneumatic.
Secondly, do you know of any improvements to the brake system on any M35's. The air system (airpac) has no backups, and the brake system is a single circuit master cyl, as in the M37's and other pre 68 vehicles. Loosing a line in either one of these circuits ends up in no brakes. Terribly unsafe, and archaic. Not that I care, I have driven them with no brakes on the street here in LA several times! But I have solutions to both of these problems, and I am searching for other kits or info about improving these Behemoths! At least for us in the hobby market. Thanx Will Liebscher
