you only have one shot so make it right
need to center punch a starting point for your
pilot drill in the center of the broken stud
you might use a very small dia (size of the threaded hole) flat head grindstone to square off the top of the broken stud otherwise it is
almost impossible to get a straight hole drilled
as the unknown one just stated get everything out of the way and make sure you are drilling and then extracting in a straight line
take your time
