I was told two years ago that this tread pattern was discontinued in the 9.00x16 size. Kelly-Springfield, Multimile, and Cordovan are three companies that I can think of that marketed the Power King Premium Traction and Super Traction at one time or another. (One was directional, the other was not and I have seen instances of the names "Premium" and "Super" flipped flopped between tread styles and brands.) I bookmarked sites for Cordovan and Multimile about a year ago. At that time, they were still showing the non-directional version in the 9.00x16 size. Now all they show are radials.
I always thought these tread patterns looked about as close as you could get to the classic truck mud and snows of the '50s and '60s. I guess not enough of us were buying them to justify producing them.
