Last summer, I flew the distance from Dallas to Salt lake city, rented a car and drove the additional hour north to meet the buyer at his house.
I didnt expect to be re-einbursed should it not be what I wanted. I made the trip to ease my own mind and make sure the truck was everything I was being told it was befroe purchasing it, with rust being the prime concern.
Just before I bought the airline tickets, I told the owner that I had better not be getting any surprizes. If there was something he was not telling me, please tell me now before I finalze the plans and show up there, or I would not be very happy.
He was an upfront and honest seller, and no surprizes were found. He qwas honest about all of the condition.
I bought it on the spot.
It took me an entire day to go and come back home. It was a long day to say the least.
But, I knew waht I was getting. I was what you would call a "serous" buyer..
He should do the same if he really is serious.
