Beyond the M-37 problems, the woodie wouldn't start today either. The battery looked completely dead, wouldn't turn on the headlights....however the battery was fairly new so I got suspicious.

I cleaned up the ground wire and the headlights would come on, and it cranked one time. Also cleaned the posts and retightened the wires. Subsequent tries got nothing or maybe the headlights.

I exchanged batteries with my 48 Plymouth and both cars started right away. When I tried the woodie the next time, nothing nothing nothing.

I cleaned up the hot lead to the starter and so far it looks like it is working...so I guess that was it.

By the way, the battery on my new boat just died....not my week for electrical stuff.
