I'm a little leery of those 7,500lb. wenches.
I woke up with one once. I own a scout with a
440 4V and 727 torqueflite. I own a 1984 (or so)
mopar 318 "LA" engine with the IH logo cast into
the side of the block where the Mopar logo would
normally be. I had an M-1 Garand made by
International Harvester (how appropriate) rather
than Winchester or Springfield. Jeep and Scout
both ran 727 torqueflites. Late model IH
Travelalls ran AMC 401's. Scouts ran AMC 258's.
AMC was bought by Chrysler and they are scattered
among the Mopars in the local junkyards. They
also bought out Sunbeam, Renault and are now
sucked up with Mercedes, the German Chevy. Ford
runs IH Diesels (6.9 and 7.2) I think flippin'
IH and Mopar are owned by Billary Clit-on and are
some'a them one worlders. Yup!
