Three weeks ago, I sold a '60 Town Wagon W100 to a fella in So California (I live in San Francisco). The "book" on the truck puts it a about 4400 lbs net. The truck was strapped/chained down (real good) to a 3900 lb rated U-Haul double axle car trailer, hooked to a "66 W200 Crew Cab, and made it 6 hrs and 400 later. No problems . . . I understand. Of course, it was Interstate highway the whole way. I don't know about where you are, up there in the "provinces".
