I pulled the pump today and found that I didn't need to replace it, just a leaking fitting that tricked me into thinking it was something more. The pump that I located at Mitchell Motors was $129.50 plus shipping, and it was new.
My truck is a '61 WM300, and the fuel pump that I worked on today is a Carter model 684. (Original)
