Hey Steve' I need to weld a bracket on the top of my "DANA 70" axle housing' I believe their cast iron. All I've got to do this with is a lincoln buzz box. What is the proper way to do this.I was told to pre-heat the housing with a torch. Also which ROD and what SETTING would you use.I need to use at least 1/4 inch plate for this bracket... thanks
