I still can't help from wondering if it would be possible to automate a process
of deleting items (I suppose I mean threads) from the forum with a time stamp algorithm so that you would not have
to refresh it. In other words, items would drop off after a certain age. It could probably be
sophisticated enough to continue dropping items (from oldest to youngest) until the thing collapsed to the pre-determined size.
This could then be automated to run once a day (or whatever schedule is desired).
If this seems like a good idea to you, I would be glad to work with you on it.
