I don't use the canister anymore. Mopar makes a conversion kit to allow use of a spin-on filter.
Adapter Plate # 3671602
Gasket # 3671314 or 489739AA
Threaded Adapter fitting # 2402103
Hose the distributor and use the
Mopar Conversion kit # P3690426. This kit has the electronic distributor, ECU, wiring harness, ballast resistor, instructions and is available at Mopar, Jegs, Summit and others.
