hauling horses is not something for someone who has never hauled horses to do!!!!
they are not like hauling static freight
they move, sway, etc require different way of driving into and out of corners and turns
you need a very good trailer with electic brakes and a solid floor = newer trailer
a professionally installed and welded to frame hitch no bolted stuff
(ball height must match tongue height)
if you don't know how to haul horses you will probably put them down in the trailer and
a horse down in a trailer is an ugly, ugly sight = a horse's worst enemy is man

have your son pay a professional horse hauler to do the job correctly about the same cost
as hauling a pw $1.00 to 1.50 a loaded mile

load horses into or get them out of trailers
some horses don't like to go in or get out
keep your fingers attached
hire a professional
