Yes but if we get down to technical terms the Cummins is the superior engine. Its turning out the power on a 6 cylinder engine. It has less moving parts then the Power Stroker. Also used in bigger trucks and boats. They all are putting out way more power and increasing the power on a Dodge truck is not hard to do. Of course its not hard to do on the Stoker either. But the old 12 valve is good for 500000 miles. Thats the even better rating then the new 24 valve.
