I got to go to the shop where Dave's beds are being assembled and see them up close and personal. They are exceptional. Dave incorporates "everything" the orginal ones had; from the square bolt holes, to the tailgate latch rivets being welding on the inside to provide for additional strength, to the floating nut cages. Nothing is left out of the original design. If you want original, you not going to find anyone even close to Dave's. This is art work. Makes me want to buy one of those PW's in the Photo Classified with no bed, but there is this little problem of were to put it so my wife wouldn't see it....she hasn't spotted the two wc's under the camoflage netting yet...so maybe....
I have no financial interest in Dave's products...just an admirer of a true craftsman.
