Hey Mike, it is a small 2 speed gear box Designed by H L Watson of Calif. I guess, I have one built by Dana and one with Spicer's name on it, both are the same. I have not found any info. on them, I did find that the Spicer corp. created the Dana corp. in 1946, so this kind of dates them. I think they were mainly used as underdrives, but are the same on both ends and have the same flanges on both ends, with straight cut gears I see no reason they could not be used as overdrives.
