Air Conditioning and Four Wheel Disc Brakes
Clean Texas Title

Asking Price $24,000

This Truck went thru a total FRAME OFF RESTORATION.
Started in 1994 and Finished in 1996.
Disc Brakes were fabricated and installed in 1998.
When purchased, the truck was in running condition with NO rust rot on cab or frame.

Restoration
DRIVE TRAIN (Complete engine overhaul)

ENGINE: 230cu. in. L-head 6-cylinder
Bored 0.030 over and balance 3-grams at flywheel
Purchased the bigger lift camshaft, valve springs, and tappets from Vintage Power Wagons

TRANSMISSION: Purchased new model 420 4-speed transmission from Vintage Power Wagons

ALL DRIVE SHAFTS WERE BALANCED WITH NEW U-JOINTS

TANSFER CASE: Complete overhaul

POWER TAKE-OFF and WINCH GEAR UNIT: Installed new bearings, gaskets and seals. New U-joints on winch shaft, new 1/2" X 225' of cable on drum with 8ft. of 1/2" chain and the original hook on end, fabricated custom roller fairlead unit.

AXLES and SPRING: Front and Rear Axles complete overhaul with new Lock-out hubs. Front and Rear Spring I had Atlas Spring Co. check and research each spring. Installed new shackles, spring pins and bushings.

BODY and FRAME: Frame, Cab and all parts were glass bead blasted, cleaned, prime and pained.
Body Color is Flame Red (DuPont Centari code: NAV 2346 #8554A-H).
Frame and Running Gear color is Pich Black (DuPont Centari).

Fabricated custom Rear Bumper with 2" receiver built in. Materials 1/4 "X 6 "X 6" sq. tube and 3/4" X 6" flat bar. Bumper assembly bolts to frame.

Fabricated Custom Fuel Tank approximately 35 gallons with drain plug.

Fabricated custom Block Mount to help clutch fork end from stress when engaged.

Installed 1/4" aluminum deck plate in Bed and used counter sink bolts.

Welded the top and bottom radiator caps to a new vertical 4-core unit to help keep engine cool while running the A/C Unit.

Fabricated custom brackets and hose fittings for the A/C Compressor.

Installed A/C with Heat Unit all in one mounted where the original heater was. Vents are mounted under the dash with billet aluminum control knobs.

All new Electrical System

Seat is upholstered in black leather

All new glass was installed and tinted. The front left side of the windshield now has a crack in it.

All new gauges were installed and are the Heritage Gold VDO with matching tachometer.

Fabricated custom brackets for front Turn Signals and KC Lights

Fabricated and installed Four Wheel Disc Brakes

All Repair Manual, Owner's Manual, spare parts, oil filters etc. go with the truck.
