I think you will like the 251 engine. It has a lot more power & pep. I don't particularly like the 420 transmission (or at least the one I am using now). The spur gear shift pattern is better and although the 420 is a syncro, it is harder to shift. Maybe your transmission will be better than mine. The radiator installation will probably be a challange. If you need some pictures of a 251 radiator setup, let me know. Good luck, Todd
