There is a young woman who I am particularly fond of. She has been in the service since January of '01, She was in Germany untill May 5th and then she went into Iraq. I been writing to her steady since she left, and when she gets computer acess, we email. While, she is not an immediate family member, I have been 'adopted' by her family, and I really hope some day she will be immediate family if you know what I mean:) I have not had an interest in any other woman since I met her. It has been kind of a love at first site type thing. The worst of the war is over, per-se, but I see that small pockets of resistance are still a thorn in our side. Everytime I hear of another US soldier killed and wounded, I get kinda tense and wonder....... She is serving as a combat medic and will be seeing some pretty ruff action. She hates it over in Iraq and the desert and having to face the bugs, scorpions and sand. I cant wait till Tommi comes home! She has 6-8 months till she is out, and that is gonna be the longest 6-8 months of my life as well as the life of her folks, sister, and other family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those brave souls who are sweating it out in the desert right now. May God Bless and Keep you and bring you all home Alive and with honor!
