I think that anybody that spends considerable time, money and energy on a hobby would be considered a serious enthusiast. I raced motorcycles for years, won 3 provincial championships and people would say, "Oh really?? you're a biker !!", then I would reply," No, I'm a motorcycle enthusiast!" I also consider myself a serious PW enthusiast because I don't just own a Power Wagon, but I am resorting it myself, learning body work, how to work on it, (It definitly isn't a Honda)learning how to do a web page so I can post my progress on it, researching different things, and I imagine many other things as the restoration progresses. I have many hobbies and things that I consider myself to be an enthusiast about. But Power Wagons I am getting pretty hard core about. I expect one day soon I will be sitting with my buddies having a beer in a pub extolling the virtues about everything "Dodge Power Wagon" and then . . . BAM! . . . get punched in the head and told to shut up. But I can only wish someone called me a "Serious Enthusiast". I would take the compliment and say thanks. Not often people hand out positive comments these days. I think that the world needs more people like Gordon. Since I got into this Power Wagon addictive hobby, I have met some of the nicest people in a long time. Like Doug Higgins in Colorado, Donna and Terry Todd in New Mexico, John Eickhof in Idaho, Kevin Ball in Alberta, Canada and many others. I haven't met anyone so far that wasn't a really nice person, I can't say that about all the people I met when I was racing motorcycles. Anyway's, it's just my 2 cents worth...

Cheers ! G.Q.
