When I started my Carryall, I was faced with many more problems than you describe. However, I decided right from the start that it would be done right. New sides were fabricated, new floors, new cross members to support the body. If you can repair properly, Bondo and Chicken wire dont all apply, repair it. Otherwise replace with new steel. It all depends on the problem area and what is involved to repair. Nothing wrong with a frame swap for a good one if you can find one or if the repair is more than you feel you can handle. When your done, you will have 100's of hours and expense we dont even want to know. Do it right all the way through and you will be happy knowing it will last.
