First of all, happy 4th of July to all of you from Alaska!
I haven't seen the idea broached yet concerning the construction of a Crew Cab FFPW or better yet a "CCFFPW" by mating the cabs back to back rather than front to back. This would allow an easier matchup of the cab lines and would provide for a pretty nifty look with the suicide rear doors. You would also then have the vented rear window! Not to be outdone by modern SUVS, you would of course keep the rear windshield wipers, surpassing their single wiper with your two. Seems as though a shortened bed would match the firewall pretty well. If you really wanted to go all the way you could add an extension in the middle, eliminate the bed then use the entire front end and fenders. The rear hood would become a concept trunk! It would kind of resemble the VW Beetle, but in a very unique and grand style. I kind of shy away from the idea of butchering two good cabs, but you've got to admit it would be different. Matt, weigh in on this one and everyone else is invited to add their comments and ideas.
