Here is a email I received from the company, it also included attachments.

As per our phone conversation, I have included some information about the product called Picklex® 20, used on both steel and aluminum.

Attached is the lab test report on painting and welding. If you notice in the painting test, only an ordinary paint sealer and an ordinary automotive paint were used and still a considerably high salt spray hours (ASTM B117) was acheived (on purpose, the painting job was given to the cheapest auto paint place MAACO, where they did not even use a regular primer). If an epoxy primer and a good auto paint are used, the salt spray hours will be much more (no sanding is needed for the primer to bond on Picklex coating).

Picklex® 20 is used for complete metal surface preparation along with a protective coating (for long term rust protection) before indoor storage, welding (increases weld strength considerably with no weld spatter) and priming/painting in a manual process. It is usually done in one step with no rinsing. Also, it minimizes future maintenance because the coating stops creeping/spreading of rust (if paint gets damaged at certain place).

Picklex® 20 works on bare-metal, sandblasted metal, rusted metal surface, hot rolled steel with mill scale. Picklex® 20 works on both steel and aluminum (any ferrous & non-ferrous metal).

Picklex® 20 is a combination of a metal surface cleaner, surface rust remover, does 100% rust conversion (including mill scale), conditions metal surface and provides a conductive metallurgical protective coating for a very long term rust protection, all in one application. Picklex® 20 makes the surface rust/contamination free and prevents further rusting (because there is no intermediate washing involved) for a long period of time before painting. Unlike other rust converters, Picklex® 20 does not cover up any rust. It can be used for very long term metal storing (under covered area). The coating stops creeping or spreading of rust, which makes the future maintenance easy.

Picklex® 20 has been in use by a number of auto body paint shops including classic car paint places, individual auto restorers, auto dealers, marinas, metal furniture restoration places, etc.

Also, Picklex® 20 is being used by several companies, for painting and
welding jobs on structural steel.

Below is a list of just few of the companies who has been using Picklex® 20.

Summa Technology Inc., Cullman, AL (this is a large metal fabricating company, has 5 big plants nationwide, fabricates large steel structures for Military). They have been using Picklex® 20 since 1998 for metal storing, welding preparation and painting, saving cost, labor & time considerably and achieving much better quality welding & painting job. As of now there is zero weld failure (also no paint adhesion failure).
