Thanks for all the feedback. I saw the soybean oil mix too. I also dug this up from the MVPA web site, it was an old post:
"I ordered a top from Weebee Webbing and Dave told me to use Thompson's
waterseal. He said it works just as well as the old waterproofing for canvas
but as half the cost."
I bought a can of Thompson's last night and plan to give it a try. I'll let you know how it works.
