Doug, I have found that the NDTs develop flat spots when the truck is left sitting for a few days. I don't think this really has much to do with the tread pattern. I believe it has more to do with their construction as a nylon bias ply. I have gotten used to that, and the flat spots work their way out after a few miles anyway. I have never run radials on any of my Power-Wagons so I can not really compare the ride to those. I don't even have the tires and/or hubs and drums balanced on my trucks. Since 1979, all I have driven is four wheel drive vehicles, so I guess I don't know anything other than a "rough ride". I have always attributed the quality of ride in my vehicles more to the fact that they have stiff supensions and solid front axle housings than the tire style or tread type.

Clint
