Thinking about buying a 95 Dodge 2500 360

This truck has a 5 speed. I want it to pull a goose neck trailer with my Power Wagon. And to haul round bales on. Is there anything that I should be looking at? Or should I forget it and look for a 1 ton? Used one tons around here are mostly worn out!
