I was looking through the local steel yard's "car" pile the other day, and found an International V8 with the 727 torqueflight still attached. The interesting thing is that the trans has a VERY SHORT output shaft, and a fixed yoke (held in place witha big centre nut)with a decent sized U-joint. I am thinking that the tailhousing/output shaft could be used as they should still fit the "mopar" pattern case, and might solve a bunch of "fit" problems. Joe L.
