I was lying in the dirt under my M-37 today in the midst of putting in a 318A engine and my friend asked me why I didn't just move the M-37 body over to the 64 W200 donor truck. Would this be sacrilegous? Have any of you fine boys and girls done this? Other than the light Dana 44 front end (which I cam change later), I can't think of any reason to struggle with swapping the newer engine into the older truck. suggestions? Feeback? A straightjacket? How does the strength of the Dana 60 shafts compare to the older 9 3/4 shafts? Thanks
