I have the sony mavica as well and love it(it takes awesome close ups!!!), get good floppy disks though because I've used the cheap ones and got home and the disk(s) was/were bad. You can also preview them on the camera view finder and delete bad pics off of the 3.5 floppy inside the camera. No special program and no wires to hook up as well. You can view on the computer and any computer with a 3.5 drive will view it. Keep it simple as possible but with the best quality you can afford. I still don't understand what a F-Stop is hahaha
PS.. I have an older one the Sony Mavica FD91 steady shot(for shaky people) 24X zoom, I picked it up used on ebay for $150 with case, extra battery and a charger a couple years ago.
