More CC's and better flow. Bigger intake and exhaust to go with the 340 6 pak setup.
If you are gonna have heads rebuilt go find some swirl port 302 casting heads from 85 to 91. Most cop cars and so forth had then in those years.Furys and Diplomat types.
If you go with the 360 heads you may have difficulty with your 318 intake and exhaust manifolds. Without upgrading those things your 360 heads would be a waste of time and money.
The only reason you need high flowing heads would be for higher rpm use. The 318 heads will still help you with low end torque which is what most trucks really want.
If you want high rpm fly through the mud bog truck you are building the wrong motor.
