Tom Cavis installed a vintage AM radio with remote volume and tuning controls in his '52. This is the old type where the tuner and speaker are located in a large box that has to be surface mounted under the dash to the firewall. From this, control cables run to the tuning and volume knobs located on a bracket attached either to the steering column or bottom lip of the dash. Tom gutted the tuner box and installed a modern FM radio in it, still controlled remotely by the cables. Nice vintage look with modern performance. Tom does not regularly frequent this Forum, but I believe there was a writeup about it in an issue of the Power Wagon Advertiser. Have seen others install a stereo system in the glove box.
