They glass bead bigger parts but I believe all the small stuff is pickled. I'll ask when I go to pick up my bolts & I'll ask what they do to stop the Hydrogen Embrittlement.
Everyone that I know in Vancouver that does auto restoration goes here. Keep in mind that most of these parts are Cad Plated when they were new from Dodge to prevent rust. Virtually every bolt made today is Cad Plated unless you buy the cheapest grade of black bolts.
I prefer Parkerizing but I cannot find anyone here that's parkerizing. There are several places in the US that do Parkerizing, which leaves bolts like a dull black but they don't rust. Common on engines & motorcycles.
