Well Today a friend of mine and I ventured over to Saginaw to where the CREW CAB sits for sale. To Start, I WAS wrong. It is a D-300 2 wheel drive and NOT a 4X4. VERY VERY sorry about that. What I thought was the Axle "pig" turned out to be a small block of wood under it. It shure looked like a front axle from the road to me.
Well anyhow, here is what I found: The truck is a '68 D-300 Crew Cab with a long stepside box. It has a 383V8 with a 727 Automatic with shifter on the dash. It is a Dually with 8X17.5 tires on 6 lug wheels. The Data plate on the door jamb indicates that the stretched wheelbase is special equipment. It has a Dana 70 rear with 4.88 gears. It is a VERY nice solid truck with a perfect front clip, the cab is very nice with a little rust here and there. The seats are not origional tho. It has good working ORIGIONAL Power Steering! The truck runs, drives and stops very well, hop in and drive it anyware! The guy's name is Jerry and you can reach him at 989-752-4960 Truck is located in Saginaw Michigan.
Sorry about the dissappointment. It is nonetheless a VERY Nice truck tho.
