Compare your damaged one to the one your wanting to install. Measure the distance from the machined mounting surface to the center of the axle side gear on the damaged one and also the replacement. That should tell you if you need to add more than one gasket. When switching carriers there are times you will need more than one gasket in mixing and matching parts. Remember each gasket adds about 1/16th of and inch. That's an additional strain on the axles for breakage at the axle flange if too many gaskets are added.
