I'm telling you guys...I took my friends new 6L Ford to Nebraska last month to pick up Wilbur & put 7000mi on it. By far the nicest & most powerful truck I've ever driven. That being said, I haven't driven a 2003 Dodge, but I have driven a 2001 & there is just no comparison power-wise or noise-wise. That thing pulled the P/W home at 80MPH & even in the mountains didn't ever shift down.
I imagine the new Dodge is the same or better, but these are nice engines. He's had absolutely no problems with his & has 20,000 on it now. I'd have bought the Dodge over the Ford, but it's a very, very nice truck none the less, aside from it having a short bed which in my opinion should be against the law! All that power & no room even for a sheet of plywood!Ha Ha!
